So we need to adapt to the conditions by changing our daily routine, changes in diet, and of course, a set of low strain exercises that suits summer weather. The warm weather of summer can make our body more exposed to various diseases. So to stay healthy this summer every one of us needs to follow certain health guidelines. Drink more liquids & stay hydrated: It's important to stay hydrated in summer. If you're dehydrated, your body loses fluids and electrolytes in your which eventually leads to sunstroke. Drinking more water than normal is one way to stay hydrated. You can also eat fluids rich fruits and can any other liquid foods to stay hydrated. Eat light & Eat regularly: Avoid heavy meals in summer because high amounts of carbohydrates and fats increase heat in your body. So eat light, frequent meals. Take fresh fruits and vegetables more that contains a high amount of water like oranges, watermelon, tomatoes, etc. Use sunscreen & lip balms: The sun produces strong rays in summer from 10 AM and 4 PM. So avoid going out at that particular time or when you are out at that time, take extra care like applying sunscreen to the exposed body parts and lip balms to protect your skin. Cold Water showers make you feel refreshed: When you feel too hot, a cold water shower immediately makes you feel refreshed. This is because cold water can send electrical impulses from the brain which helps to reduce stress and boosts your mood. Wear loose & woollen clothes: Prefer wearing light coloured clothes preferably from natural fabrics like cotton and linen.
