What Is Fibromyalgia?

It has trigger points from which the pain originates which is a consistent dull ache. The trigger points are in the joints of the back, and neck. Â As it is known earlier there is no definite cause but research says that the condition can be triggered due to genetics, stress, infection, and trauma(PTSD). Women are prone to develop this condition ten times more when compared to men.
The common trigger points are back of your head, shoulders, upper chest.

Therapies can gradually reduce the stress on trigger points and depression associated with it.
The alternative treatments for fibromyalgia include physical therapy, massage therapy, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, regular exercise, and balanced diet. You can manage the pain by bringing on a modification to your lifestyle. Gentle regular exercises help you over come the disease slowly and steadily. it is only a myth that exercising can aggravate the condition, it actually works on reducing the symptoms.
